Description
The CELL-DYN 1200 integrates advanced diagnostic features into one powerful hematology solution. The system incorporates proven electronic impedance with focused sample flow. This flow technique is similar to stream management technology used on expensive research analyzers. Now, Abbott engineering has made dynamic stream focusing affordable for all laboratories. The innovation does not stop on focusing. The CELL-DYN 1200 offers additional features which enhance laboratory efficiency.
The CELL-DYN 1200 provides a 18-parameter CBC that includes a 3-part differential. Dispersional data alerts, suspect parameter flags and suspect population flags monitor patient results to alert the operator of potential abnormalities.
The CELL-DYN 1200 is exceptionally reliable. The low maintenance system utilizes minimal tubing and pneumatic valves. On-line diagnostics constantly monitor vacuum, pressure and voltages to notify technologies of corrective action before time consuming failure.
The sampling station accepts closed blood collection devices to reduces exposure to blood. The aspiration probe is automatically rinsed to minimized potential risks of biohazard. Two step sample processing enables all levels of laboratory personnel to run specimens. The two reagent system streamlines inventory management. The system automatically stores 31 separate control runs in 10 control files. Operator defined QC protocols insure your CELL-DYN 1200 is running in compliance. QC logs can be printed for a permanent record.
